This picture shows the Associazione Sportiva Roma 25-26 third jersey, made by Adidas.

Some fans pointed out the kit’s “polo shirt” vibe, while others felt it lacked the unmistakable Giallorossi DNA—namely, the club’s iconic maroon and yellow color scheme.

That’s where Roma fan and shirt collector Matteo Monti stepped in.

Monti’s viral “fix” of the kit simply swaps the green detailing for maroon, a color deeply associated with Roma’s identity.

The subtle change makes a huge difference: suddenly, the kit feels less like a generic retro release and more like a true AS Roma third shirt.

The updated version keeps the rest of the design untouched—preserving the orange-yellow logos and intricate jacquard patterns—while injecting a stronger sense of club heritage.
